Hey y'all!! Come here. I wanna show you something. Something real special. You see all this? This is my man cave. You know, my man cave. This is where all of the magic happens. The late nights. The early mornings. The coyote uglys. It all happens here, in my realm, in my cave.
Have you guessed what goes on here yet? If you thought I was alluding to what Libba Bray refers to as "the horizontal mambo", then I suggest you check yo self! My cave is a place of worship (sorta) and shall never be tainted by acts of such. It is here that I speak about the brilliant works of many authors. It is here that I discuss what great characters Alan, Nick, and Mae (Demon's Lexicon) are, and how sexy, complex, and irresistible Georgina Kincaid is (Georgina Kincaid Series). Essentially, this blog is a symbolic representation of my room, which I often refer to as my cave. In my actual cave, I spend long hours reading and writing about those novels we all love (hence the late nights and early mornings). The ones considered "jaw dropping", "nail biting" and basically just fu%$&@# MAGNIFICENT. Occasionally, novels that are often written poorly are my coyote uglys. I tend to find them laying on my chest looking gross, slimy, and toxic- not to mention infectious! To continue though, I may also be laying on my bed (in my cave) with my mouth gaped open with drool coating my chin. Why am I like this, you ask? Because Alaya Dawn Johnson, or Richelle Mead, or Christopher Pike completely BLEW and RAPED my mind simultaneously. If you never had this happen to you, seek the experience out! I say screw the marijuana, cocaine, and acid, take a hit from a novel! Lastly, in my actual cave, I also type these long and corny posts that I hope serve as beacons that assist in introducing you to brilliant literature.
So, get ready to enter my cave, for it is like no other cave you will ever enter. It'll be spectacular at times, and possibly trite at others. However, it will always be original. And as y'all will soon find out, A Reader's Cavern is, and always will be, phenomenal- for it display my expedition through the world of literature.
