Hey Guys!
I have been such a slacker recently; I haven't blogged in two weeks! For this, I apologize. However, I would like you guys to know that I have had an amazing past two weeks. I will start my blogging up once more next week, with a review of The Near Witch, but as for now, I have to keep enjoying my summer! It's almost over =[.

The Near Witch is Near!
The gap between now and the moment The Near Witch, by Victoria Schwab, gets downloaded to my Ipad is growing thinning! I have been eagerly anticipating this novel for quite some time, and it's almost mine. It's almost mine! I probably am not going to go to bed tonight at all tonight; I will be up gobblin'. I'll probably have it completed by tomorrow night, as well as my review. If you haven't heard of the piece as of yet, shame on you! But do not fear, I will give you the synopsis :).
The Near Witch is only an old story told to frighten children.
If the wind calls at night, you must not listen. The wind is lonely, and always looking for company.
And there are no strangers in the town of Near.
These are the truths that Lexi has heard all her life.
But when an actual stranger—a boy who seems to fade like smoke—appears outside her home on the moor at night, she knows that at least one of these sayings is no longer true.
The next night, the children of Near start disappearing from their beds, and the mysterious boy falls under suspicion. Still, he insists on helping Lexi search for them. Something tells her she can trust him.
As the hunt for the children intensifies, so does Lexi’s need to know—about the witch that just might be more than a bedtime story, about the wind that seems to speak through the walls at night, and about the history of this nameless boy.
Part fairy tale, part love story, Victoria Schwab’s debut novel is entirely original yet achingly familiar: a song you heard long ago, a whisper carried by the wind, and a dream you won’t soon forget.
Damned Giveaway
After reading the Wicked series by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie, I fell completely in love with their writing. I swore that I would read any and every book they ever published again. And lucky me, they started a new series! It's the Crusade series. Unfortunately, I am just now finding out about it, so I haven't received the opportunity to bask in its glory; however, it has been downloaded, and it is waiting for me to tear through its pages!
On to more important matters though, there is a giveaway taking place right now to receive an ARC copy of the second installment in the series, Damned. I need this book. I need to feel it's weight in my hands and the smell of its pages. I tend to suffer from readers torture quite often. You know, that torture readers get when they finish an amazing book and have to wait more than a week for the second book in the series. Well, I get that really bad. Really, really bad, so I need this book. HOWEVER, it would be quite horrendous of me to hide this amazing offer from you guys. Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie are both amazing authoresses, and everyone deserves the opportunity to experience their writing. So, go buy the Wicked series if you haven't already, and allow Nancy and Debbie to caress your love for a good book. Then, go download Crusade and experience, what I'm sure is beyond fantastic, the glory of all that is awesomeness. THEN, enter the give away offered by Confessions of a Bookaholic and start the journey again. It'll be well worth it; I promise ^_^.
